Clément Le Penven
EnsAD

Short film (2013) by a student from ENSAD's Photography / Video department (Grand projet-Final project) .

Pariahs, marginalized families of no real interest, the ones we never see in the media or in movies. Clément Le Penven, drawing his inspiration from a strange place where a crater appeared out of nowhere one fine morning, constructs a story around two adolescents. The plot -  a letter stolen from a mailbox and a few paltry revelations - is mere pretext: Le Penven plunges us into the world of these two implausible lovers and their rambling conversations. We observe them, artless, maladroit, but always beautiful and unique in the compassionate eyes of the filmmaker.
