EPHE Christian and Byzantine Collection: Gabriel Millet Photo library

Created from Gabriel Millet's bequest to the EPHE, the Christian and Byzantine collection known by its founder's name is a heritage collection of documentary resources from the early 20th century. It comprises around 40,000 glass plates and over 100,000 paper prints, as well as architectural drawings, watercolors, and ivory casts. In addition, there are models of buildings, letters, and a collection of publications.

Access terms

The photo library is open to graduate students Master's and above, PhD fellows, faculty and researchers. By appointment only.
