Chimie ParisTech Central Library
Chimie ParisTech's Central Library is as old as the school itself. Holdings include over 300 printed periodical titles, 2,600 on-line journal titles, books, reference works, and a rich collection of early 19th century scientific instruments. The library is also home to the complete, restored and digitized Charles Friedel (1832-1899) archives. The 15 laboratory notebooks, extensive photographic archives, and handwritten correspondence with fellow scientists and students that comprise the archive provide unique insight into his scientific research and experiments and into the scientific and intellectual context of his time.
