ENS Humanities and Social Science Library – Jourdan site
The Library of Arts and Humanities on Rue d'Ulm—the oldest library at the École Normale Supérieure—and the Library of Humanities and Social Sciences on Boulevard Jourdan constitute a single library at the École Normale Supérieure. The Ulm-Jourdan library has a high-level scientific collection, with a rich collection of 770,000 volumes (including antique books, iconography, researcher archives, and manuscripts) and provides access to 268,000 digital books and 45,000 electronic journal titles, the vast majority of which are shared within the PSL University.
The Jourdan site library offers 75 seats with tables and 13 armchairs spread over 500m².
Its collections are primarily designed for the ENS units present on the Jourdan Campus: geography, social sciences, economics, and law, and closely follow the latest developments in these disciplines.
