École des Arts Décoratifs Materials Library

A source of inspiration, information, and advice, the materials library offers organized documentation of physical samples. Its collection includes nearly 4,000 samples of flexible materials from industry and craftsmanship: textiles, leathers, papers, metals, and plastics, selected according to criteria of technicality, innovation, and sensoriality.

Located at the interface between education and the business world, the material library also represents an address book of 1,600 contacts. In addition, it produces “Material Info” documents covering product news, industrial vocabulary, and new technologies.

Access terms

The materials library team welcomes students, teachers, and researchers from the School on a walk-in basis and by appointment for students, teachers, and researchers from other PSL University institutions and the Fashion, Arts & Design Campus – Manufacture des Gobelins.

Lending terms

Loans are reserved exclusively for the School's students, faculty, researchers and staff.
